- Teaching Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Managing the class i.e. attendance - Assisting students to complete their final projects
• Participation in the procurement process (collecting quotations, and purchasing materials and equipment with proper documents) • Arranging all the online and office meetings • Proper Installation of new hardware (printers and telephones) and software, creating and managing emails, and keeping computers secure with installing the antivirus • Analyze the requirements of the company and organize IT the resources of the company accordingly • Evaluating the needs of the company and choosing the most suitable software, hardware and other IT requirements such as networking • Managing junior employees in the IT department of the company • Provide troubleshooting solutions • Ensure that all IT requirements of a company are fulfilled • Ensure the smooth functioning of all IT infrastructure such as servers and network connections, besides hardware and software • Organizing data, storing them securely and creating backups
• Maintenance of all laboratory equipment and supplies • Preparing computers, routers and switches during laboratory hours • Repairing and updating hardware and software of laboratory equipment • Preparing the materials required by the laboratory at a specific time to perform the tests • Familiarity with laboratory tools and equipment and cooperation with the relevant professor during teaching • Submitting proposals for the required materials and arranging the report of its consumption to the department on a semester basis • Guiding students in order to use laboratory equipment when teaching with the cooperation of the relevant professor
• Installing software for ICT labs (Internet centre and computer science labs) • Checking software and hardware faults in all labs • Checking all labs’ computers weekly and report to line manager • Controlling and giving report from ICT camera to line manager • Providing technical and software support to Gawharshad University staff in times of need • Helping with Ethernet/Telephone wiring while setting up new computer lab or creating new department • Helping students to have access to Internet and other computer problems at Internet Center • Providing help support for sound system in conference hall in times of need • Set up, control, and connect a new user to the network
