I am a Geodesy Engineer, GIS Engineer and Surveyor with a Bachelor’s degree in Geodesy Engineering from Kabul Polytechnic University and practical professional experience in surveying, Geographic Information Systems, topographic mapping, and geospatial data processing. I started my university studies in 2019 and graduated in 2023. Since then, I have developed practical experience in both field surveying and GIS-related work. I have worked on more than 100 topographic surveying and mapping projects, gaining extensive practical experience in field measurements, coordinate and elevation data collection, survey data processing, topographic mapping, terrain representation, contour generation, and engineering-related surveying activities. I currently work as a GIS Engineer and Specialist at the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Afghanistan. My technical interests and experience include GIS, ArcGIS, ArcMap, AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, Total Station surveying, topographic mapping, coordinate systems, spatial data processing, georeferencing, digitizing, terrain modeling, profiles, cross sections, and engineering survey support. Because some of my professional work is associated with a sensitive government organization, I cannot publicly disclose the names, locations, maps, coordinates, datasets, or other restricted details of certain projects.
